Reading together

We select the books and read them together, in the online space. We are not trying to be an audio book, but we want to make these books accessible for our people even when you're busy – truck drivers and housewives alike. You just need to listen!

Extra-curricular

We prepare a lot of material beforehand, for example about the author and the work, but we also look up things as we go! We love to learn ebout the etymology of words and expressions – their meaning and origin.

Individual Episodes

All episodes are freestanding, usually separated by a theme or a chapter. We also present a summary in each episode, both to refresh our memory and to make sure you don't feel lost if you missed a week. If you want to catch up on missed episodes, they are all recorded and uploaded to our Odysee page.

Discussion

After every chapter or section, we stop to discuss the content we just read, to make sure we all understand it. We discuss the material both in the context of the time it was written and of our modern time. You are welcome to participate in the discussion – we love to hear your thoughts!
